The Gulf Shores Golf Club

The Gulf Shores Golf Club offers a spectacular golfing experience. The beautiful setting, challenging course, and elegant clubhouse create a golf atmosphere that both the golf novice and enthusiast will admire. Designed in the traditional plantation-style, The Clubhouse at the Gulf Shores Golf Club is complete with a dining room and golf Pro Shop. The Clubhouse is perfectly situated to give guests a spectacular view of the surrounding fairways.

The Gulf Shores Golf Club's 18 championship holes were designed by the renowned father-son team of Jay and Carter Morrish, and feature a few sharp doglegs, bunkers, and the occasional water hazard.

The Gulf Shores Golf Club, the course was built in the 1960s and was the first golf course in Gulf Shores.  In November 2005, the course closed to undergo a complete renovation. Taking place under the guidance of Jay and Carter Morrish, the renovation lengthened the par 71 course by 300 yards and added numerous water features, enhanced fairways, and additional bunkers.

The goals to beautify and enhance the course, and to make play more challenging, have been achieved. There are now holes that are so dramatically changed that you cannot stand in the fairway and believe you are on the same course. The Morrish group delivered on their promise and the result is a spectacular product that no golf enthusiast will want to miss.
